FOOD & WINE PAIRING DINNER WITH KEERMONT VINEYARDS

On Thursday 25 September, we will host a Food & Wine Pairing dinner featuring Keermont Vineyards. Tim Atkin consistently ranks Keermont as a South African "First Growth" in his annual wine report.

Keermont Vineyards is a specialist Wine Estate set in the naturally-formed amphitheatre between the Helderberg and Stellenbosch Mountain ranges. The farm is situated high up in the picturesque Blaauwklippen Valley, otherwise known as Paradyskloof (Paradise Valley). The Estate is blessed with some very special and unique vineyard sites, and the vines planted over these different terrains produce wines with good complexity and a variety of flavours. Winemaker Alex Starey is a member of the very exclusive Cape Winemakers Guild. Alex aims to create wines that reflect the beautiful place from which they come and the different blocks from which the grapes are picked.

A selection of wines by Alex and Sommelier Karl Rohlandt that aim to highlight the superb quality and individual character of the Estate, have been expertly paired with a seasonal, once off five-course menu by Executive Chef Mathew Armbruster and Sous Chef Nokwanda Dilinga.
